The existing educational facilities in the area are not adequate for our growing Population. Education is the most vital sector of a society. The mounting pressure on the existing institutions can be judged from the fact that a large number of those boys and girls, who secured first division marks, fail to get admission in the Government institutions. Hence, there is a growing need and a demand for private school m education to come forward and help in educating the talented students. It is a matter of common knowledge that most of our youth, especially girls, have to discontinue their education for want of adequate educational facilities in their localities. This is a tremendous national loss. Keeping in view these facts. the Management of Qurtuba decided to establish separate Schools and Colleges, for boys and girls. Qurtuba School and College (For Boys) Peshawar is located on the main avenue of Hayatabad Town, bifurcating from Jamrud road, which passes through Sector K-1, Phase III of Hayatabad. It is functioning in a pleasant surrounding, ideal for an educational institution. Across the main avenue is the "Tatara" public park and close by is "Baghe Naran" (a public garden). The College has a five-storey building. consisting of more than sixty classrooms, Laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Computer labs and a spacious auditorium and a beautiful mosque.

Dera Ismail Khan is one of the major urban centres of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a population of nine hundred thousand. In terms of population and civic facilities, it is a rapidly growing city. It is also the hub of economic activities and enjoys a central position in Gomal basin. This city commands a very important geographical position because it is at the crossroads of routes from Bannu to Dera Ghazi Khan and also from Waziristan to Punjab, across the Indus river. Educationally, D.I.Khan is one of the backward areas of the country. Till very recently, quality schools and colleges were almost non-existent here. Government sponsored institutions could not meet the growing needs of the area. Qurtuba was the first institution to fill up this gap. Prof. Abdul Aziz Khan Niazi, an educationist with a long experience of teaching, responded to the occasion and accepted the challenge of providing quality education. Qurtuba School & College D.I.Khan was founded in 1996. With very humble beginning, it has now grown into one of the premier institutions of the Province. The institution is housed in a purpose-built owned premises spread out at 30 kanals of land on spacious Sheikh Yousaf Road, opposite Islamia High School, near city circular road, D.I.Khan, in a highly congenial academic environment.
