The existing educational facilities in the area are not adequate for our growing Population. Education is the most vital sector of a society. The mounting pressure on the existing institutions can be judged from the fact that a large number of those boys and girls, who secured first division marks, fail to get admission in the Government institutions. Hence, there is a growing need and a demand for private school m education to come forward and help in educating the talented students. It is a matter of common knowledge that most of our youth, especially girls, have to discontinue their education for want of adequate educational facilities in their localities. This is a tremendous national loss. Keeping in view these facts. the Management of Qurtuba decided to establish separate Schools and Colleges, for boys and girls. Qurtuba School and College (For Boys) Peshawar is located on the main avenue of Hayatabad Town, bifurcating from Jamrud road, which passes through Sector K-1, Phase III of Hayatabad. It is functioning in a pleasant surrounding, ideal for an educational institution. Across the main avenue is the "Tatara" public park and close by is "Baghe Naran" (a public garden). The College has a five-storey building. consisting of more than sixty classrooms, Laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Computer labs and a spacious auditorium and a beautiful mosque.
